3 Healthy London Cafes You Have To Try

One of my favourite things about London is the abundance and variety of incredible healthy plant-based cafes that have popped up over the past few years. It's definitely no secret that I'm a bit of a health-nut and I'm always on the look out for exciting new eateries in the city, so this post was a long-time coming.  For any of you who share my passion for good food, grab your girlfriends and get ready to plan your next brunch date as today I'm letting you in on just a few of my top picks.

My list of recommendations is prettyyy long so I thought I would kick things off by selecting three spots that would be perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner respectively. Let the drooling commence!

Raw Press

Raw Press Juice Cafe

Raw Press Juice Cafe Salads

Raw Press is a cold-press juice cafe with branches in Mayfair and Chelsea. Don't be fooled by the name however, as this cafe also offers a tasty range of breakfast options and delectable salads. My personal favourite is the Sweet Strawberry Acai Bowl which is topped with a generous mix of crunchy granola, dried mulberries, bee pollen and fresh strawberries mmmm. I seriously can't get enough of the stuff! If you're searching for a spot of healthy breakfast in west London, look no further.

Redemption Bar

Redemption Bar Shoreditch Pancakes

'Spoil yourself, without spoiling yourself' is their motto! Redemption Bar prides themselves on serving delicious vegan dishes free from wheat and refined sugar as well as alcohol-free beverages at their in-house bar. Some of you might be wondering, so what's left on the menu? Sweetcorn and red pepper pancakes with avocado, chilli, coriander and lime guacamole, that's what. And it's pretty darn goood. I stopped by the trendy Shoreditch branch which is sure to be a hit with any of you Instagram enthusiasts out there with it's marble tables and velvet studded chairs. The menu changes on a regular basis but click here for a sample menu and I'm sure you'll find something that tickles your fancy!

Tanya's Cafe

Tanya's Raw Food Cafe Chelsea matcha latte

Tanya's Raw Food Cafe Chelsea gnocchi

Tanya's Raw Food Cafe Chelsea key lime pie

Tanya's Cafe was once a a raw food restaurant located in Chelsea where I devoured a plate Green Pea Gnocchi followed by one of my first ever matcha lattes and a beautiful slice of raw key lime pie. Unfortunately, as I'm writing this post I've realised that the restaurant is currently closed and will be relaunching as Tanya's Retail in Spring 2017.

But don't worry, I've got your back. If raw food is something you'd be interested in trying, then Nama Foods in Notting Hill is the way to go! Don't be afraid, it's not all kale and dehydrated broccoli. I'm talking pizza, pasta, pancakes and cheese boards here. Yep, all made with a raw vegan spin of course. Too good to be true? Well there's only one way to find out...
